$0.79 $1.09

Fuji apples were first developed in Japan and are a cross between Red Delicious and Virginia Ralls Benet apples. They are wonderfully crunchy and juicy.

This is one of the most popular varieties in the world. It has a scent with a hint of pineapple.

Fuji apples are best suited for both raw and cooked applications such as baking, roasting, and stewing. Sliced can be used for salads or pancakes. You can also prepare a delicious apple pie from them. Fuji apples can also be layered in sandwiches, topped over pizza, cooked into quiche, or mashed into potatoes.

Gala apples are one of the most widely available apples in the country. They are a cross between Kidd's Orange Red and Golden Delicious and keep well.

Gala fruits are medium to small in size, have a conical shape, and their skin is smooth and slightly shiny. The flesh is greenish, fine-grained, tight and crunchy. They have the aroma of vanilla.

Gala apples are general purpose - they can be used for everything : for eating raw, for cakes, salads and drying.

The fruits are characterized by juiciness, sweet taste and a distinct aroma.

Honeycrisp: A modern apple in high demand. Outstanding fresh-eating qualities make this variety an American favorite. Fruit is aromatic and sweet as honey with an explosively juicy, crisp texture.

The Honeycrips apple is crisp, juicy and sweet. The fruits are refreshing, crunchy, mild in taste and soft.

They are great for making apple pie, applesauce and preserves. Sliced can be used for sandwiches or salads.

Honeycrisp apples were first developed in the 1960’s at the University of Minnesota where they were bred with the intent of creating an apple that could tolerate Minnesota's cold weather.

All these varieties are rich in dietary fiber, especially pectin. They also contain vitamins A and C, most of which are found in the skin.
