Organic Thai Coconut
Thai coconuts have thinner husks, making them easier to handle and cut into, and their interiors are filled with coconut water and a gelatinous meat. The coconut water can be drunk straight or seasoned in a variety of ways, while the meat may be eaten as a snack.
Coconut water forms naturally in the fruit and contains 94% water and very little fat.
It should not be confused with coconut milk, which is made by adding water to grated coconut meat. Coconut milk contains about 50% water and is very high incoconut fat.
The liquid of the Sweet Young Coconut "Thai" can be combined with the flesh to make refreshingly sweet coconut milk for tropical drinks, puddings, sauces, stews, and soups. Or simply add the coconut meat to fruit salads, dessert recipes, and curries. For tropical flavor anytime, enjoy organic coconuts straight from your fridge.
